Emailing photos and just a few measurements to info@jewelcabinet.com is a great way to start the biding process. With this information, we can provide you with a good idea of what the cost will be. CLICK HERE TO USE OUR HANDY ONLINE FORM
Eventually we do come to your home to take exact measurements. Final cost will depend mostly on wood choice and door style.
Some other options to consider: new countertops (laminate, granite, man-made stone, etc.), new custom drawers and/or roll-outs, adding any additional custom cabinetry to match the refaced cabinets, and any other additions you’ve been considering.
Example of Measurements:
Counter top left of stove is 26” deep x 33” long. Top right of stove to wall is 44” long. Top on sink wall is 184” long (including 36” peninsula measurement). Peninsula top is 36” deep x 84” long and has 10” over hang on the back side. Desktop is 20” deep x 39” long.
Note: Countertop measurements are helpful even if you are not planning on new countertops as it helps me scale the size of the cabinets.
Example of additional options you may want:
- We would like to somehow add a new microwave above our stove to replace the existing hood.
- Possibly maple or birch with a raised panel or shaker style door design and new crown molding above upper cabinets.
- New Valance above sink. New countertops (either granite or Cambria).
- Some new drawers and additional roll outs would also be very nice.
Pictured above is the completed project. Notice the new microwave above the stove, arched valance above the sink, as well as the new crown moldings above the upper cabinets. We also added all new drawers and roll outs with full extension ball bearing slides. Wood is birch. Door style is raised panel. (Again, you can pick any wood and door style.)We completed this job in less than a week, including the new granite countertops. Total cost was approximately ½ the cost of all new custom cabinets. Our custom cabinets are identical to our refaced cabinets.
